About this tool

Two dates.
One useful answer.

“How many days until?” and “How long was that?” are date questions with more than one valid answer. Calendar days count the dates on the timeline. Weeks and days make a long span easier to read. Weekdays are useful for project planning and office schedules. A date difference calculator should expose those interpretations rather than quietly returning one number and leaving you to guess what it means.

GeoTimeTools compares a start date and an end date in a clean browser-only calculation. You can include or exclude the end date, then read calendar days, whole weeks plus remaining days, and weekdays from Monday through Friday. The page treats the dates as calendar values instead of local timestamps, which avoids a daylight-saving shift changing a date-only answer by an hour.

Use the tool for days-since calculations, project durations, content schedules, travel planning, notice periods, and deadline checks. It does not remove public holidays; if the question is specifically about working days, use the Business Days Calculator instead. Keeping those tools separate makes the result easier to explain and gives each search intent a focused page.

Inclusive or exclusive counting

A range from Monday to Tuesday is one elapsed day when the end date is excluded, but two named calendar dates when both endpoints are included. Choose the convention that matches the wording of your project, policy, or deadline.

Why weekdays are separate

Weekdays remove Saturday and Sunday but do not remove holidays. That makes them useful for a quick Monday–Friday planning estimate. For a holiday-aware count, switch to the business-day page and review the holiday assumptions there.
